Written Notes

Tasted in November 2021. Was distinct on the nose with sweet pineapple, grapefruit, and almonds. The palate had great acidity, complexity, structure, and length, and it finished with acacia honey flavour. Very successful for the vintage. 95-96p.

Medium to deep brassy colour. Sweet botrytis, lemon curd, cashew nut aromas. Very concentrated, quite heavy in styel guirayd?) with lemon curd, honey, bitter lemon flavours, substantial richness and volume. Old fashioned style wine with generosity and weight. Finishes bitter chalky firm yet with good acid line. Feels like a component rather than a complete blend. 93 points

Bright golden yellow colour. Aromatic nose with complex approach, ripe tangerine, candied orange peel, juicy apricots and vineyard peaches, opulent nose with hints of vanilla and honey in the background. On the palate very rich character with grapefruit-zest, ripe apricots and candied orange peel, vanilla, elegant bitterness in the finish adding to the wine's complexity.
  • 93p
Golden. Rich, intense, fruity, vanilla, pineapples, apricots, fresh, intense nose, layered, precise and pure. Fresh acidity, fresh, fruity. Detailed, nuanced, playful, bright yet intense, long. 95-97
