Written Notes

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Rich nose with expressive aroma reminiscent of dark chocolate, mocha and fine toasting, balmy spices backed by ripe blackberries, blackberry jam, plum compote and discreet floral hints. On the palate well-structured and balanced with freshness, ripe tannins, elegant mid-palate and excellent length.

de Pressac GCC – 79% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Carmenere and 2% Malbec. Very traditional in style. Plenty of spicy dark berries well matched by fat tannin and bright acidity. Splendid structure, delicate complexity and fine balance as well. Persistent aftertaste. Terrific wine. 93p.
