TERROIRS: 70 % clay-limestone plateau, 17 % clay-rich slopes and 13 % of vines on sandy soils

The 2013 vintage in Bordeaux was one of the most difficult since 1965 and 1968. Thomas Duroux of Château Palmer describes it as “the most complicated vintage in 20 years”. Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Eelgant oak aroma and toasting, mature berry fruit and ripe plums, gingerbread and hints of tobacco in the background. On the palate well balanced tannins, fine axidity, medium bodied with good length.
