Written Notes

Tasted twice in April 2018. Tasted at UGCB tasting in Bordeaux and at the chateau. Same impression. Enchanting wine with deliciously tasty fruit, silky texture, finesse, splendid balance and complexity. Persistent fruity finish. Really fine effort for the vintage.

Dark purple red with violet hue and black core. Well structured wine with slightly closed character, rather restrained fruit, hints of dark berries and plums in the background. Elegant spiciness and discreet roasting aroma in the background. On the palate well structured with firm but ripe tannins, ripe fruit, elegant spiciness and convincing length.  A nice surprise in this vintage. 93
