A magnificent and elegantly aged tawny, Dow’s 40 Year Old offers extraordinary complexity with layers of dried fruit, spice, and oxidative nuance. The nose reveals rich aromas of fig, caramel, roasted nuts, dried apricot, honeyed citrus peel, and warm baking spice, underscored by gentle oak and toffee notes. On the palate it is sumptuous and silky, with beautifully integrated sweetness balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, lingering finish that echoes citrus marmalade, butterscotch, and delicate oxidative minerality. Luxurious, nuanced, and utterly refined.
