Written Notes

A fresh and delicious version of McLaren Vale Shiraz, this has a dark maroon colour. The nose gives us notes of chocolate, mocha, coffee grinds and bay leaves, along with some cassis and blackberries. Good complexity is already evident, the wine has a lovely plushness and there is a supple, creamy palate. Fine acidity, silky tannins, excellent balance and real persistence. Love it. A ten year proposition. 94.
