Written Notes

A fine vintage in McLaren Vale for this delicious Shiraz. The colour is a very dark maroon. Plums, spices, florals, blackberries, warm earthy notes, cold tea, licorice and beefstock characters are all to be found on a nose starting to exhibit a little complexity. A supple texture here, and a generous palate, there is a fine line of acidity and a long, lingering finish. The best is yet to come. A ten year proposition. 92.
