Our fourth Chardonnay release from the Oakey Creek Vineyard, following the purchase of this 40Ha property in mid-2021 from the Drayton family. The fruit for this wine is sourced from a small 2.68Ha parcel situated on a gentle south-east facing slope. Wonderful green tints on a white straw background. Fine roasted cashew oak aromas complement the lees complexity on both nose and palate. Bran meal and stonefruit flavours are supported by perfect acidity. A fine, contemporary Hunter Valley Chardonnay.
