Written Notes

Intense purple colour with violet hue and black core. A very elegant wine with great freshness and fruit reminiscent of blackcurrants and blackcurrant spurs, fresh sloe and hints of raspberries. Refined floral components, oriental spices, cocoa and hints of vanilla in the background. On the palate refined character, well structured with ripe tannins, fine acidity and complemented by juicy fruit and discreet spiciness, showing excellent length and a promising potential.

Tasted in May 2021. 58% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. Fragrant raspberries on the nose, elegant with finesse on the palate, sleek with delicate balance and smooth finish. Very solid wine but it could use some more concentration and depth.

Ruby. Blueberries, cassis, anise, some vanilla and spices, layered and detailed nose, intense. Floral. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, raspberries and blackberries, liquorice nerve to it, detailed and layered, long finish, firm yet bright. 93-95

BWW2025

VOTE NOW FOR YOUR FAVOURITE WINES FOR THE BEST WINE OF THE WORLD2025 -TITLE

"We believed the opinion of 10,000 consumers or 1,000 professionals to be more correct and more significant than a small group of wine professionals, when it comes to judging a wine competition - so, please vote!

BWW-The Best Wine of the World-competition is by far the toughest wine competition on this planet. Unlike any other industry competition, less than 1% of the wines involved will be awarded.

BWW is also the largest wine competition: The BWW competition has already received in total over 15 million votes. The voting time ends at the end of May 2025.
