Not many Aussie wines can claim to have notched up their 55th vintage release. This is a very good addition to the line. If the Black Label Shiraz is a joy now, this wine has the structure to be a much longer-living proposition. A classic Coonawarra cabernet.
There is a hint of mint. Some attractive spice and blackberry notes. Cedary. Hint of chocolate. Very good length. Bright acidity and fresh. A fine effort.
