The Story

Nature uses the spinning, turbulent flow of the vortex to energise and revive fluids. Biodynamic farming mimics this powerful stimulating motion in the hand-stirring of preparations as a connection to the universal forces.  We named our dynamic, refreshingly complex white blend Cyclus, because of the elegant way that Avondale’s unique life energy swirls through its invigorating layers.

Colour is yellow and medium. On the nose it is intense, youthful, open, complex, generous, ripe, fresh and refined. The taste is elegant,robust, refined, toasty, focused, fresh, and dry, and average in acidity, full-bodied, with complex, perfectly balanced, well-structured, concentrated, well-integrated structure and youthful. On the palate it is layered and has buttery, white fruits, apricot, citrus, mineral, tropical fruits and toasty flavours. The finish is long, flavorful, lingering, extensive and vibrant. This wine is impressive. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 10-15 years and decant at least 1h before tasting.
