The nose is fragrant with lifted red fruit, pastille and subtle spice aromas. Ripe cherry flavours and soft tannins feature on the palate with a fine, long finish. A perfect Hunter Valley Shiraz for the medium to long term.

Written Notes

From such a stunning year, this was always going to be a bit special. Only around the 160 cases made. Spices, ripeness here in a full-throated Hunter cracker. Plushness and black fruits. Real concentration. Chocolate notes. Mouthcoating tannins. Power, grip, length. This is a year which exhibits both ripeness of flavour but also fineness of tannins and with this wine, the grip does not give up. Stunning.
