Written Notes

Beychevelle - blends 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot. It has intense, crunchy cherries, mint, leather, and mineral flavors. Tannins are gentle, and the velvety texture leads to a fine finish. It is a very stylish wine with a complex and refined character. 95-96p.

Ruby. Intense nose, blackberries, dark fruits, some spices, liquorice notes nose, layered and nuanced, rich. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, blackberries, juicy, spices, rich and intense, deep, spices, dark fruits, lush and layered. Maybe not the most typical Saint-Julien or Beychevelle, but impressive non the less.

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Complex nose with juicy fruit reminiscent of blackcurrants, blackberries and mulberries, complemented by hints of mocha and dark chocolate, fine toasting, vanilla and mild spices. On the palate well structured with ripe tannins, sweet fruit, fine toasting and distinct minerality. A wonderful Beychevelle with class and freshness, displaying great aromatic depth and length.
