Ever since it was first produced, and down through the various vintages, Château Beychevelle has reflected the elegance and finesse of Saint Julien's finest terroirs.Graceful and complex, with a tremendous aromatic richness, Château Beychevelle is made from the best plots in the vineyard and undergoes a rigorous selection process.It reveals its character after about ten years, and can be kept for several decades, depending on the vintage.
...Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Densely woven nose with fragrant fruit, blackcurrant spurs and ripe blackberries, fine floral hints, a whiff of candied orange peel, hints of dark chocolate and fine toasting. Subtle oak. On the palate well structured and balanced with ripe tannins, elegant acidity, ripe fruit reminiscent of plums and dark berries, mild spices and hints of toasting in the background. Excellent length, a very elegant and promising Beychevelle.
