Written Notes

Medium-deep colour. Intense black cherry, mulberry dark chocolate aromas with herb notes. Well concentrated mulberry, black cherry fruits, brambly notes and underlying savoury espresso/ mocha oak. Grainy firm finish with ample sweet fruits. A classic Pauillac style with tannins giving textural richness and lengthening the palate. 59% cabernet sauvignon, 28% merlot, 10% cabernet franc, 1.5% carmenere, 1.5% petit verdot.

Ruby. Blackberries, anise, cassis, spices, detailed, nuanced nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, dark fruits, anise, spices, layered, again energetic, bright and long. Another successful Clerc Milon, gorgeous balance. 93-95

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Expressive nose with ripe blackcurrants, elderberries, black cherries and blackberries, elegant spiciness, vanilla and hints of gingerbread, fine toasting. Multi-layered nose with a hint of minerality. On the palate well structured and balanced with ripe tannins and very convincing length, elegant with a certain power and refined with freshness.
