The Story

The name “La Conseillante” appeared in the middle of the 18th century, when the influential Catherine Conseillan, who owned the property, decided to endow the estate with her name.

Written Notes

Evolved colour with orange tint on the rim, elegant nose with a hint of overipped merlot. Smooth and delicate on the palate with a medium finish. In its perfect time to enjoy

Deep ruby. Dark berries, detailed, nuanced, intense, layered and complex nose. Scented, floral notes in the back. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively and refreshing, mouthwatering, maybe not refined just yet but getting there, very long. Superb '06. 95

Quite evolved with slightly jammy flavors. Light texture. Merlot wasn't a revelation in this vintage, it's obvious to taste. I think this wine is speeding up in maturity very fast. Nice and charming.
