The 2012 Bordeaux vintage report.

The 2012 Bordeaux vintage is a year for vineyard management and workers. Call it a wine makers vintage, or change your tune and name it vineyard managers vintage. Either descriptor works perfectly. Written Notes

The colour is a little bit evolved regarding the only 10 years old vintage. There are some varietal notes on the nose with a lighter structure that we are used to have with this chateau. The structure is a little bit dryer in the end not the best Pichon Baron on this challenging vintage.

Ruby. Cassis, some vanilla, spices, fruity, intense, layered, detailed, firm and tight nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, chewy, structured, dark berries, intense and long. Fruity and structured. 94
