The inspiration for the name ˝Dragon de Quintus˝ came from the vineyard’s privileged location on a promontory at the edge of the Saint-Emilion plateau, as well as from the history of the watchtower built there to defend the village.

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Expressive nose with distinct fruit, blackberries, mulberries, sloe and a hint of blackcurrant jelly. In the background fine toasting and subtle oak, vanilla and dark chocolate. Fine minerality. On the palate well structured with ripe tannins, almost velvety character, sweet fruit, fine toasting and elegant spiciness in the finish. Very good length.
