...Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Densely woven nose with expressive and impressing fruit, blackberries, mulberries and elderberries, hints of blackcurrant spurs and hints of blossoms in the background. Fruity earthiness reminiscent of beetroots with some time in the glass. Very elegant oak with fine toasting, elegant spices and a hint of dark chocolate and cocoa powder. On the palate well structured with ripe tannins, fine acidity, intense fruit, blackberries, mulberries and elderberries in combination with hints of beetroots. Fine minerality, excellent toasting, depth and excellent length.
