Vineyard: nebbiolo, year planted 1960 - 1995

Location: vineyards in Annunziata village, sub-area Gattera, 13 km southeast at 250 m a.s.l. and south at 240 m a.s.l.

Soil: Calcareous and clay

Yield per hectare: 5.5-6 tons/Ha of grape

Harvest period: start mid-October

Written Notes

Barolo Gattera 2009 Bit muted nose with meat, mint, dark red fruits, ripe currants, wild raspberries and balsamic notes. Focused and tannic but with fine, pure red fruits, juicy finish, red currants, roses, long and fresh. Undeveloped and needs a bit of time. Dried flowers and dried fruit flavors on the finish. 91p 2016-2022
