Written Notes

A blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah and 10% Sangiovese are fermented and macerated separately for two weeks followed and blended together after 12 months of oak ageing separately.
Intense, perfumey, spicy blackberry nose. Full-bodied, round and intense mineral mouthfeel with dark blackcurrants, cherries and earthy tones. Supple tannins supports the saline finish. Drink 2025-2028. Decant for 1.5 hours and serve at 17-18°C with grilled venison fillet and morels. JL 91+p (Nov 2022)
