The Story
RENNER - Ried (single vineyard, cru) Renner is situated on the slope of the Ried Gaisberg Riesling terraces. The soil structure here is deeper and offers more water retention for the wines. Beside loess a high proportion of eroded material from primary rock (brownish para-gneiss, amphibolite and mica) forms the subsoil of this vineyard.

Description: Exuberant multivitamin juice-style fruit with a touch of grated nuts, describes a wide arc immediately followed by deep flavours; fruity-sweet and full-bodied but also very lively, mineral-saline notes before a long finish, another sure bet.
