Bryant’s flagship wine, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate vineyard on Pritchard Hill offers a rare but magnificent forest floor/floral aromatic profile with lavishly rich, ripe notes of crème de cassis, blueberry and black raspberry liqueur. Fleshy, opulent, full-bodied and multidimensional, it conceals some significant tannins behind its wealth of extract and fruit. From a first-growth quality, hillside vineyard (13 acres), this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is gorgeously pure as well as impeccably well-balanced with a seamless integration of tannin, acidity, alcohol and wood. In fact, the new oak component, which is significant, is largely obliterated by the wine’s stunning fruit. This majestic Cabernet Sauvignon should age effortlessly for 25-30 years.

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is silky, layered and very polished throughout. Red cherry, spice cake, crushed flowers and mint are laced together in a gracious, mid-weight Cabernet Sauvignon. Hints of orange peel and cinnamon add an exotic flair as the wine opens up. Bryant's 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is quite pretty, but it should really be more than that. It should be viscerally thrilling in the way the best vintages are.

Bryant Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made from our 13-acre estate vineyard atop Pritchard Hill, overlooking Lake Hennessey.
The vineyard’s west-facing slope is perfectly positioned to capture the prevailing cool lake breezes, while also providing protection from drying canyon winds. The unique combination of rocky Sobrante soil, sunlight, cool breezes, soil depth and meticulous farming site to yield wines of exceptional quality. This first growth vineyard is meticulously farmed by David Abreu, with whom we have worked closely for more than 12 years. A beautiful expression of our unique terroir, this wine is a testament to the dedication of our winemaking and vineyard team who aim to produce the finest wine possible from this site.
