Written Notes
A great introduction to the vintage, the 2009 DB4 emerges from the glass with juicy dark cherries, flowers and sweet spices. The supple radiance and inviting personality typical of the Bryant 2009s come through beautifully. This is a fabulous wine to drink now and over the next decade-plus. The 2009 DB 4 has always been sexy, but today it is even more harmonious than it was last year.
Bottle with normal size. Looking deep, ruby red and dark. Open, youthful, refined, fresh and ripe on the nose. The taste is fresh, ripe, fruity, perfumed, vivid, average in acidity, concentrated, well-structured, youthful, medium tannin, silky tannins and drying tannins. With blackcurrant, blackberry, spice, floral, perfumed and chocolate flavor. Long, lingering, flavorful and vibrant. Well made, superb and full-bodied. Decanted over 4h and drink between 2015 and 2020.
