Written Notes

79% Merlot + 21% C. Franc, 13.5% alcohol. Dark red, fresh, pure, mineral, violets and roses, raspberries, C.Franc shined through, precise, focused, and superb midpalate, structure, and length. More complex and longer than last year. Quite an achievement for her first vintage. A great future awaits! 95p+.

Intense purple colour with violet hue and black core. Noble nose with pure fruit and elegant toasting, aroma reminiscent of blackberries, black cherries, ripe plums and hints of violets, discreet spiciness with nutmeg, white pepper and s. On the palate well structured with a very good mid-palate, full-bodied with excellent length, complex with multi-layered finish, ripe berries, dark stone fruit, subtle oak, fine toasting and hints of chalky minerality. A great wine.
