Written Notes

Tasted in October 2019. Consistent notes. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon + 45% Merlot + 5% Petit Verdot + 1% Cabernet Franc. Fresh, elegant, soft texture, complex, finesse, sappy and persistent finish. This is more elegant and lighter wine from the property than usual.

Ruby. Blueberries, spices, detailed, nuanced, floral, cassis nose. Intense and deep. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, fresh, detailed, elegant, playful, superb balance, layered, intense yet refined, superb effort, WOW. 95-97

Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Opulent nose, blackberries, ripe blackcurrants, sweet elderberries, hints of dark chocolate, pipe tobacco and mild spices. On the palate ripe but tight tannins, juicy fruit, excellent structure and length. A great wine. 95
