Written Notes

Tasted in June 2021. Delicate aroma of acacia flower and lemongrass on the nose, crispy fruit on the palate, vivid, splendid acidity, well-structured, lingering finish.

Full bottle 1,300 g. Cask sample taken 6 April. 83% Sauvignon Blanc, 17% Sémillon with an average age of 40 years. Aged in oak for 11 months. 
A relatively deep colour. Rather a heavy initial impression, which follows through on the palate. You might like a rich, creamy white – in which case, head for this one. But the finish is a bit sudden and overall it seems a tad rustic.

Bright yellow colour with green hue. Excellent and expressive nose, ripe tangerine and citrus fruit, hints of grapefruit peel in the background, white blossoms, aromatic herbs and hints of vanilla. Subtle oak. On the palate well balanced and structured with savoury taste, fine minerality, very good length and aromatic depth.
