The Story

The 50 hectares of Léoville and 17 hectares of Langoa, planted in gravelly soil with a clay sub-soil, include large proportions of old vines in order to obtain the best possible quality. Written Notes

Good-looking château-bottling, and the level was high-shoulder. Decanted 2 hours. A deep, dark and healthy colour. Beautifully developed bouquet with a hint of leather, smoked meat, exotic spices, and blackcurrants. This is a full-bodied, meaty, spicy,and fruity wine with non-aggressive tannins. This intense and well-balanced wine finished with more than a 90-second demonstration of sweet fruit and silky tannins. A great wine, which will last for another decade
