150 Year Old Vines Grenache 2019 ($250) – Ancient Barossa Grenache is one of the world’s hottest wines and gems like this show just why that is. Deep maroon, this is all spices and herbs. Notes of milk chocolate, strawberries and cream, raspberries and more. A fine structure and impressive length, with a classically varietal mix of silk and sandy tannins. A lingering finish. Very attractive and sure to provide superb drinking over the next seven to ten years. 96.
