Written Notes

Power, ripeness and structure meld together in the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Martha's Vineyard. Firm beams of tannin give the wine much of its backbone, although the wine remains opulent, full-bodied and intense. Sweet tobacco, incense, licorice, smoke and cedar add nuance in a voluptuous Martha's Vineyard that can be enjoyed with minimal cellaring. This is a terrific showing.

Ruby. Scented, bell peppers, cassis and quite pure feel to the nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, elegant, refined feel to it, even if a bit lean. Long. 93
