The nose is rich, highly expressive, and deeply vinous, opening with wild red berries, yellow plums, and bruised red apple, closely interwoven with complex barrel notes of toasted rye, fresh pastry, warm butter, and a grounding chalky minerality. On the palate, the wine possesses broad shoulder and remarkable vinous density, yet enters with crisp, bone-dry clarity. The concentrated core of tart red fruit, blood orange, and sweet spice expands across the mid-palate, held tightly in check by a vibrant, mouthwatering vein of citrus acidity that cuts through the oak-fermented weight.
