Yet again, the opportunity for an unforgettable experience from Florens-Louis. The wine has that indescribably intense, personal nose that I can trace in a split second. This time it was spiced with eucalyptus and mint leaves, but the foundation was identical to earlier vintages. Fresh, deep, gamy, nutty, apricot-sated, cigar-smelling, and full of jet fuel. These are all good descriptions, but oh-so-inadequate.
