Written Notes
Supposedly this wine is just as good as the '66 and the '69. It was thus unfortunate that my treasure came from a warm Milanese cellar that destroys Champagnes within a couple of years. Florens-Louis seems to be very nearly an indestructible wine for, despite the abuse and the total lack of effervescence, the wine was still rather light in color and fresh in its acidity. It seems that these are completely resistant to oxidation. Impressive!
