The Blanc de Noirs 1er cru has the prestige and standing to accompany the finest pata negra ham, and the power to match a fillet steak, duck confit or braised poultry. It can even take you right through to dessert – try it with a rich praline Paris-Brest.

The Story

The Cattier Blanc de Noirs is made from a 100% pinot blend. This champagne, made primarily from pinot meunier grown on the Montagne de Reims, is the embodiment of classical champagne and Cattier’s house style. The large proportion of older wine and long stay in the cellar gives this champagne a remarkable aromatic complexity.

Blend: Pinot Noir 70%, Pinot Meunier 30%

Description: Fruity nose (pear, vineyard peach, redcurrant), acacia honey and lime. powerful on the palate, structured, yellow and exotic fruits . Fresh, tonic, with notes of grapefruit finish.

Wine Information

Eyes : fine, elegant bubbles bring the beautiful pale gold of this Premier Cru to life.

Nose : the aromas are refined yet generous, filling your nose with plum, peach and strawberry and a delicate hint of candied orange peel.

Palate : this generosity continues on the palate, where an explosion of plum, mirabelle, peach, apricot and strawberry gracefully give way to acacia honey and a long finish heady with sweet spice and toasted notes.
