A welcome relief after some difficult years in the region. Quantity-wise, it was the seventh high-cropping year in a row. But, in 1995, the quality also excelled, and particularly so for Chardonnay. Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is yellow, and looking bright and medium. On the nose it is open and complex. The taste is fresh, harmonious, rich, toasty, and dry, and average in acidity, medium-bodied, with perfectly balanced structure and developing. On the palate it is layered and has toasty and white fruits flavours. The finish is long, round and vibrant. This wine is sophisticated. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 1-5 years and decant at least 2h before tasting.
