The 2018 vintage in Napa Valley is widely regarded as one of the finest of the decade—long, even, and slow-ripening, without heat spikes or weather extremes. Cool nights and a moderate season allowed for extended hang time, producing Cabernet Sauvignons of remarkable purity, precision, and aromatic lift. Tannins are refined, colors deep, and the wines display exceptional balance and ageability. For Mythicvs, 2018 brings an especially structured yet ultra-polished expression, leaning toward elegance over sheer opulence.


The Mythicvs 2018 is a beautifully composed and finely sculpted Cabernet Sauvignon, showing the estate's characteristic power but wrapped in the poise and transparency of the vintage. The nose is deep, pure, and quietly luxurious, opening with layers of blackcurrant, blueberry reduction, and ripe black plum, interwoven with notes of violet, graphite, and crushed granite. Subtle hints of licorice, dark chocolate, cedar spice, and cigar leaf add complexity as the wine opens in the glass.

On the palate, Mythicvs 2018 is structured yet elegant, with a seamless texture that speaks to meticulous fruit selection and masterful élevage. The tannins are firm, ultra-fine, and superbly integrated, supporting a concentrated core of cassis, blackberry, and black cherry. Accents of espresso, warm earth, sagebrush, and a cool, stony minerality lend depth and definition. The acidity is vibrant and perfectly aligned, carrying the wine toward a long, resonant, and beautifully proportioned finish marked by dark fruit and savory spice.

This is a refined, architectural Mythicvs—less about flamboyant power and more about purity, symmetry, and precision. It will reward patience, evolving gracefully over the next 15–25 years, while already offering extraordinary poise in its youth with generous aeration.

Deep, garnet-purple colour. Open, intense and charming nose with perfumey and spicy notes with black fruits and violets. Full-bodied palate is refined and tight-knitted with polished tannins and vibrant dark fruitiness. Long and lingering finish with grapihite and licorice flavours. Deep and exquisitely beautiful, the 2018 presents seemingly endless layers of aromatic and fruit intensity that open with a bit of coaxing. Black cherry, grilled herbs, lavender and graphite lend striking complexity throughout. The 2018 is a stunning wine in every way.
