The Story

Thanks to the rigour and all the meticulous care lavished on this growth on a daily basis, Château Lascombes can claim to be one of the top wines of Margaux. Written Notes

Tasted in September 2012. Have greatly enjoyed this wine since January last year when I opened the first bottle. This is a kind of wine you always would serve for your girl/boyfriend. Seductive and elegant with catchy fragrance of blueberries/black cherries on the nose, silky ripe fruit on the palate, well-balanced with soft fruity aftertaste. A real heartbreaker wine. Fits perfectly Margaux syle. There's maybe not the depth, structure and length found in great vintages, but who really cares.

En finstämd och framstående näsa av blåbär och viol, perfekt mognad, utmärkta mjuka tanniner, lång i gommen, verkligt stor Margaux. Omöjligt att förstå varför vissa tycker det är för "moderna".
