Written Notes

The 2016 was the ripe vintage caused by the heatwave in August. The wine is made from 62% Pinot Noir from Cumières, Les Chalmonts cru and 28% Chardonnay from Chouilly.  was disgorged in 2005 with dosage of 8 g/L. It is a blend of 53% Pinot Noir and 47% Chardonnay. Only 4% of the base wine went through the malolactic fermentation.

Refined, complex and charmingly open nose with ripe red fruit aromas. The palate is dry and broad, gentle mousse and ripe strawberries flavours. Gently phenolic finish with spicy notes. – JL 93p (April 2024)
