The Taylor's Vintage Port 2024 is a landmark release, marking a classic "general declaration" for the iconic Port house.Crafted under the direction of head winemaker David Guimaraens from a notably small, highly concentrated harvest, this expression blends traditional Douro Valley grapes (such as Touriga Nacional and Touriga Francesa) foot-treaded in stone lagares. It pours an opaque purple-black with an amethyst rim and presents a focused, racy nose of dense blackcurrant, woodland fruit, and violet nuances. On the palate, it balances immense power and structure with signature Taylor's elegance, featuring lean, tightly knit tannins and vibrant acidity that promise decades of graceful aging.
