Written Notes

1998 Dom Ruinart Rosé, Ruinart, Champagne, France Medium intense pink with copper hue and amber reflexes. Small and persistent bubbles. Open nose that’s already beginning develop with red berries, strawberries, cranberries and red citrus fruit that is starting to mature, coated in spicy and toasty notes of anise, saffron and brioche. Floral notes appears with more air and ads to the complexity. Full and rich palate with fruit that resembles the nose with maturing red berries, red citrus and sweet toasty notes. Very smooth mousse and superbly structured with a long finish that grips your palate with an almost tannic feeling full of minerals. Drink now-2025 94p.
