Unico 1947 (released 1960) Moderately-intense, brick-red colour. Open nose that has herbaceous tints combined with dark cherries, leather, smoke and nuttiness. Medium-bodied, intense and well-concentrated palate with mellow tannins and lively acidity. Ripe dark plum and cherry flavours. A long, herbaceous and silky finish with a touch of complex giving volatility. JL 90p

Bright garnet red with brick red hue. Ripe nose with aroma reminiscent of dried figs, walnuts and raspberry jam, a quite classic nose for Vega Sicilia. On te palate juicy with fine acidity. A great wine.
