Written Notes

Light, straw yellow colour. Fresh, intense, fresh white fruits. Dry, intense, crisp, mineral, intense, fresh lingering finish. Non-vintage champagne with big soul!

Deep lemony colour. Pronounced and deliciously sweet nose of burned match, toast, brioche, honey and minerality. Full and round, succulent palate with velvety texture and plenty of autolytic complexity. Long and intense, however, very enjoyable already now.

Även om Charles Heidsieck både är det bästa och mest berömda av de tre Heidsieckhusen, så var det sist på plan av de tre. Standardchampagnen Brut Resérve Mis en Cave tillhör i dag de bästa på marknaden och årgångsvinet är alltid en fröjd att följa.Från ett hundratal byar och 40% reservviner från åtta årgångar gjorde Daniel Thibault en av de bästa standardchampagnerna från de stora husen. Med ett par års extra flasklagring utvecklar den en högklassig doft av rostat bröd, vanilj och en lång komplex fruktighet med en len eftersmak av kola. Nu är vinet tillbaka igen efter att man känt sig tvingade att överge "mis en cave-konceptet". Vinet är om möjligt ännu rikar, nötigare och chokladigare än tidigare.
