The luxuriantly textured, creamy palate is simultaneously concentrated and gloriously smooth and polished with layers of complexity. There is soft caramel, mandarin orange, quince, praline, vanilla and then some butterscotch on the long aftertaste, which ends on notes of tobacco and black tea. The discreet acidity provides remarkable freshness, grace and balance.
