W & J Graham & Co proudly marked the 60th anniversary of the Queen's accession to the throne with a commemorative bottling of Graham's 1952 Old Tawny Port.
Given its ability to age over very long periods, Port has always been a wine associated with longevity. In 2011 W & J Graham & Co, together with Berry Bros & Rudd, took the decision that this exceptional Port should be bottled to honour the Queen in her Diamond Jubilee Year.

Written Notes
Good looking normal size bottle and in an perfect condition. Colour is cherry red, deep and youthful . On the nose it is intense, youthful, refined, fresh, rich and seductive. The taste is vigor, ripe, warming, medium-bodied, with balanced, well-structured, concentrated structure, youthful and the palate is sharp. The finish is medium long, flavorful, spicy and vibrant. This wine is sexy, exotic and fine. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 20-30 years and decant at least 2h before tasting. Good value for money.
Graham’s released the rare 1982 Single Harvest Tawny to commemorate the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Charles Symington selected only six pipes for this bottling. Paul thinks this is so delicate it should be drunk on its own rather than with cheese.
Very pale. So lively and delicate! A real wine! It has clearly been in barrel for ages but doesn’t exhibit that almost-painfully reduced, concentrated phenomenon encountered in long wood-aged sherry. A serious, complex wine, a sort of white burgundy of a port.
