The 2015 vintage was marked by an exceptionally Sec summer, the most Sec in decades. Although the spring was relatively cool, the summer brought water stress Rare in Champagne, followed by some precious rainfall in early September, allowing good ripening of the grapes.

A wet winter and mild spring gave way to an exceptionally dry summer from mid-May onwards. Hot weather prevailed until mid-August, when the skies opened again.
