Produced only in exceptional vintages from three Pinot Noir parcels in the domain's home village, the 2014 Champagne Premier Cru Mareuil-sur-Aÿ Extra Brut pours a rich, deep straw color. The nose is generously rounded, offering luscious aromas of fresh yellow plum, subtle blue fruit, buttery shortbread, red apple, and a touch of fragrant incense. On the palate, it combines a full-bodied presence with a weightless, flowing mouthfeel that carries into a long, graceful finish. Beautifully expressive today, this charming cuvée possesses the structure to age effortlessly over the next few decades. Disgorged in June 2022 with a 4.5 g/L dosage, total production was limited to just 3,210 bottles.
