A light, pure as a mountain stream, fine limbed, chalky champagne with interesting shades that provide some lovely Francophile enjoyment. The lightest edition I have tasted of this prestige champagne. It gains of course in complexity as well as in concentration through storage, something that is unique to all fine champagne. 65% of the grapes come from Côte des Blancs and 35% from Montagne de Reims. Keeps very well and is now displaying a rather oilier side along with classical reductive toasting.
