#thechampagnesommelier TASTING NOTE Vingårdarna är desamma som i den vanliga blanc de blancs, 60% Mesnil, 35% Avize, 5% Villers-Marmery. Det är främst urvalet av enskilda druvor från gamla stockar som rättfärdigar det höga priset. På denna tiden mådde mer än hälften av champagnefirmorna dåligt finansiellt pga Irakkriget & oljekrisen. Endast 20 flaskor finns kvar hos Maison Deutz. Endast 15 000 buteljer producerades av detta vin. Trots en hög kocentration som kommer från gamla stockar snarare än från en bra årgång så visar vinet fprtfrande upp en imponerande struktur & syra. Honungsmarinerad stil som var förvånande!
