Terra di Monteverro benefits from the same care and attention to detail as our “Premier Cru“. It is a Cuvée assembled from the same grape varieties as Monteverro and boasts the same characteristics. It possesses all the qualities of our magnificent terroir and has the distinction of being engagingly approachable, with an impressive structure, harmony and intensity.
The 2021 vintage in coastal Tuscany is considered outstanding. A relatively cool spring was followed by a warm, dry summer with excellent diurnal variation, allowing grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. These conditions resulted in wines of great concentration, precision and structure, with fresh acidity and refined tannins—hallmarks of a top-quality year for Bordeaux-style blends.
Deep ruby with vibrant purple reflections. Aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry and plum are layered with graphite, Mediterranean herbs and subtle cedar. The palate is structured and refined, delivering concentrated dark fruit, cocoa and spice framed by fine-grained, polished tannins. Bright acidity provides lift and precision, leading to a long, balanced finish with mineral and savoury depth. A poised and age-worthy Tuscan blend from an excellent vintage.
