Written Notes

The Monteverro Chardonnay 2019 is a delightful expression of Italian Chardonnay. In the glass, it reveals a luminous, pale gold color that reflects its freshness and purity. The nose is a captivating blend of orchard fruits and subtle florals. Aromas of crisp green apples, ripe pears, and hints of white blossoms create an inviting bouquet. On the palate, this wine offers a harmonious interplay of flavors. Juicy citrus, including Meyer lemon and tangerine, is complemented by the creaminess of ripe peaches. The wine's texture is both silky and refreshing. The finish is clean and refreshing, leaving a lingering impression of citrus zest and a touch of minerality.

Suggested Food Pairing:
Pair this Chardonnay with seafood dishes such as grilled prawns, lemon butter scallops, or a classic linguine with clams. It also complements soft cheeses and light, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.

Bright yellow colour with green-golden hue. Opulent and expressive nose with ripe fruit, pear, pineapple, hints of granadilla, backed by vanilla and mild spices, fine toasting and roasted hazelnuts. Almost flinty hints in the background. On the palate well-structured and balanced with intense fruit, fine toasting and discreet minerality. Excellent depth and length.
